Characteristics of Scorpio
Scorpio is taken as the eighth among 12 zodiac signs, in Vedic astrology. It is ruled by Mars. It features three nakshatras. The last quarter of Vishakha, all four quarters of Anuradha and all four quarters of Jyeshtha nakshatra fall in this sign. This sign features 9 navamshas ranging from Cancer to Pisces. Cancer navamsha is ruled by Vishakha, Leo to Scorpio navamshas are ruled by Anuradha and Sagittarius to Pisces navamshas are ruled by Jyeshtha nakshatra. Scorpio represents water element and it is taken as a feminine sign.
Looking at characteristics of Scorpio; it is a deep, intense, emotional, sensitive, intuitive, brave, loyal, determined, ambitious, jealous, secretive, stubborn, vengeful and dominating sign. Natives under strong influence of this sign may have good psychic perception and some of them may also be significantly/highly intuitive. They may love to dig into secrets and they may be good at keeping secrets. They may be significantly or highly emotional and they may go to extreme lengths in order to protect the ones they love or in order to punish the ones who may have done wrong to them.
