Retrograde Saturn in 3rd House in Scorpio
When retrograde Saturn is placed in the third house of a horoscope in Scorpio, Virgo rises in the ascendant. Saturn rules the fifth and sixth house. In general, it is partly benefic and partly malefic here, though the benefic part is higher, in most cases. Retrograde Saturn in the third house of horoscope in Scorpio is benefic in many cases, though it may turn malefic in some cases. It may happen when such Saturn is influenced by one or more malefic planets, and/or an overall malefic horoscope. Taking an example, suppose retrograde Saturn is placed in the third house of a horoscope in Scorpio. Benefic Mercury is placed in the ninth house in Taurus with Sun, benefic Rahu is placed in the second house in Libra, benefic Venus is placed in the eighth house in Aries with Ketu, Moon is placed in the sixth house in Aquarius, and Mars is placed in the seventh house in Pisces. If benefic retrograde Jupiter is placed in the first house in Virgo, the equation may become better. In this case, the native may possess remarkable singing abilities, and he may come across a lot of success, money, fame and recognition as a singer. Taking an example for a female native, suppose retrograde Saturn is placed in the third house of a horoscope in Scorpio with malefic Mars. Malefic debilitated Sun is placed in the second house in Libra with malefic Rahu, Ketu is placed in the eighth house in Aries, benefic exalted Mercury forms Bhadra Yoga in the first house in Virgo, and Venus is placed in the twelfth house in Leo. Grahan Yoga is formed in the second house. In this case, the native may keep changing jobs till her age of 35/40, though she may earn well. She may witness 1 or 2 miscarriages, before she may deliver an alive child.
If Jupiter is placed in the sixth house in Aquarius, and debilitated Moon is placed in the third house in Scorpio with Saturn and Mars, the equation may become more troublesome. In this case, the native may keep changing jobs throughout her life, though she may earn well. She may also remain jobless for periods of more than 3 months, many times in her life. She may witness 2 or 3 miscarriages, though she may give birth to alive children also. She may suffer from heart related problems after her age of 35/40, and she may die between her age of 55 and 65, due to a heart attack.
