Retrograde Mercury in Sixth House in Capricorn
When retrograde Mercury is placed in the sixth house of a horoscope in Capricorn, Leo rises in the ascendant. Mercury rules the second and eleventh house. In general, it is benefic here, in many cases. Retrograde Mercury in the sixth house of horoscope in Capricorn is benefic in many cases, though it may turn malefic in some cases. It may happen when such Mercury is influenced by one or more malefic planets, and/or an overall malefic horoscope. Taking an example, suppose benefic retrograde Mercury is placed in the sixth house of a horoscope in Capricorn. Benefic Sun is placed in the seventh house in Aquarius, benefic Venus is placed in the fifth house in Sagittarius with benefic Rahu; retrograde Jupiter is placed in the eleventh house in Gemini with Ketu; exalted Saturn is placed in the third house in Libra, and Moon is placed in the eighth house in Pisces. If benefic Mars is placed in the ninth house in Aries, the equation may become better. Mercury rules the second and eleventh house, and it is placed in the sixth house. If such retrograde Mercury is influenced by malefic planets, and/or an overall malefic horoscope, the native may witness various types of problems related to or through his family and/or friends. Considering family, the native may be born in a family which may be poor, and/or some of his family members may be alcoholics, drug addicts, criminals and/or they may have some other negative traits. In this case, native’s parents may have a disturbed marriage, they may get divorced during native’s childhood, and the native may live with his mother. His father may die before native’s age of 20 or 15. The native may not achieve much professional success throughout his life, and he may remain jobless for periods of more than 3 months, many times in his life. He may also witness financial tightness and debts, many times in his life. He may face bad reputation and/or financial losses due to some of his friends.
