Retrograde Mercury in Sixth House in Aries
When retrograde Mercury is placed in the sixth house of a horoscope in Aries, Scorpio rises in the ascendant. Mercury rules the eighth and eleventh house. In general, it is partly benefic and partly malefic here, though the malefic part is higher, in most cases. Retrograde Mercury in the sixth house of horoscope in Aries is malefic in many cases, though it may turn benefic in some cases. It may happen when such Mercury is influenced by one or more benefic planets, and/or an overall benefic horoscope. When benefic in nature, retrograde Mercury in the sixth house of a horoscope in Aries can bless the native with good results related to friends, profession, finances, reputation, authority, recognition, fame and several other good results, depending on his/her overall horoscope and running times.

Taking an example, suppose retrograde Mercury is placed in the sixth house of a horoscope in Aries with benefic exalted Sun and benefic Jupiter. Venus is placed in the seventh house in Taurus, Mars is placed in the fourth house in Aquarius, benefic Saturn is placed in the ninth house in Cancer, benefic exalted Rahu is placed in the eleventh house in Virgo, and benefic exalted Ketu is placed in the fifth house in Pisces. In this case, the native may become a doctor. He may specialize in cardiology as well as surgery, and he may witness good results.
If benefic Moon is placed in the fourth house in Aquarius with Mars, the equation may become better. The native may possess remarkable knowledge of his field, and he may come across very good amount of success, money and recognition. He may start his own hospital after his age of 40/45, and he may witness good results. On the other hand, malefic retrograde Mercury in the sixth house of a horoscope in Aries can trouble the native with problems related to friends, lifespan, profession, finances, reputation, authority, recognition and several other problems, depending on his/her overall horoscope and running times.
Mercury rules the eighth and eleventh house, and it is placed in the sixth house. If such retrograde Mercury is influenced by malefic planets, and/or an overall malefic horoscope, the native may witness various types of problems related to or through his friends and/or lifespan. Considering friends, some of his friends may be selfish, opportunists, criminal-minded, criminals, drug addicts, traitors and/or they may have some other negative traits. The native may witness several problems because of such friends, many times in his life. Some of his friends may be his hidden enemies, and they may keep causing problems for him. Mars is placed in the twelfth house in Libra, malefic Rahu is placed in the eighth house in Gemini, malefic Ketu is placed in the second house in Sagittarius with Saturn; benefic Moon is placed in the fifth house in Pisces, and benefic Jupiter is placed in the fourth house in Aquarius.
In this case, native’s parents may have a disturbed marriage, they may get divorced, and the native may live with his mother. He may experience a troubled childhood. He may not find a permanent profession throughout his life, and he may keep changing jobs. He may remain jobless for periods of more than 6 months, many times in his life. He may witness several problems because of some of his friends, and/or he may lose more than 1 good friend to death, before his age of 40 or 35. He may witness 1 or 2 failed marriages, and he may settle in his second or third marriage. He may die before his age of 60 or 55, due to a heart attack, some type of cancer, or because of a fatal viral infection like COVID.
