Retrograde Jupiter in Ninth House in Cancer
When retrograde Jupiter is placed in the ninth house of a horoscope in Cancer, Scorpio rises in the ascendant. Jupiter rules the second and fifth house. In general, it is benefic here, in most cases. Retrograde Jupiter in the ninth house of horoscope in Cancer is benefic in most cases, though it may turn malefic in some cases. It may happen when such Jupiter is influenced by one or more malefic planets, and/or an overall malefic horoscope. Taking an example, suppose benefic retrograde Jupiter is placed in the ninth house of a horoscope in Cancer. Benefic Sun is placed in the first house in Scorpio with Venus, Mars is placed in the twelfth house in Libra with Mercury, benefic Moon is placed in the sixth house in Aries, and benefic retrograde Saturn is placed in the seventh house in Taurus. In this case, the native may achieve authority through politics. He may become chief minister or governor of a state, if the finer factors and running times are supportive.
If benefic Rahu is placed in the tenth house in Leo, and Ketu is placed in the fourth house in Aquarius, the equation may become better. If such retrograde Jupiter is influenced by malefic planets, and/or an overall malefic horoscope, the native may witness various types of problems related to or through his/her father, marriage (female), husband, family and/or children. Considering father, the native may not have a good equation with his father, his parents may get divorced and he may live with his mother, his father may suffer from a long-lasting illness, he may be an alcoholic and/or a drug addict, he may be a criminal, and/or he may die before native’s age of 20, depending on native’s overall horoscope and running times. Considering family, the native may be born in a family which may be poor, and/or some of his family members may be alcoholics, drug addicts, criminals and/or they may have some other negative traits. Hence the native may witness several problems in his life, due to bad reputation of his family, and/or bad conducts of some family members. Considering marriage (female), the native may witness delay/disturbances in marriage, and/or one or more failed marriages.
The problems related to children may aggravate if the native is female. She may witness delay in childbirth, medical complications, miscarriages, abortions, and/or birth of dead children. She may give birth to children who may be physically and/or mentally troubled. Taking an example, suppose retrograde Jupiter is placed in the ninth house of a horoscope in Cancer with malefic Ketu. Guru Chandal Yoga is formed in the ninth house. Malefic Rahu is placed in the third house in Capricorn with malefic Mercury, Mars is placed in the fifth house in Pisces, and exalted Saturn is placed in the twelfth house in Libra with Moon. In this case, the native may not deliver her first alive child till her age of 35 or 40, though she may witness 1 or 2 miscarriages.
If Sun is placed in the fourth house in Aquarius, and malefic exalted Venus is placed in the fifth house in Pisces with Mars, the equation may become more troublesome. In this case, the native may witness 2, 3 or more miscarriages, before she may deliver an alive child. If the finer factors and running times are very bad, she may die while giving birth to a child, soon after that, or even before that.
