Retrograde Jupiter in Fifth House in Virgo
When retrograde Jupiter is placed in the fifth house of a horoscope in Virgo, Taurus rises in the ascendant. Jupiter rules the eighth and eleventh house. In general, it is partly benefic and partly malefic here, though the malefic part is higher, in most cases. The concept of various planets exhibiting tendencies to be benefic or malefic on the basis of the houses they rule in a horoscope has been explained in the book ‘Gemstones: Magic or Science? Retrograde Jupiter in the fifth house of horoscope in Virgo is malefic in many cases, though it may turn benefic in some cases. It may happen when such Jupiter is influenced by one or more benefic planets, and/or an overall benefic horoscope. Taking an example for a female native, suppose retrograde Jupiter is placed in the fifth house of a horoscope in Virgo with benefic exalted Rahu. Exalted Ketu is placed in the eleventh house in Pisces with exalted Venus, Mars is placed in the seventh house in Scorpio, benefic Moon is placed in the fourth house in Leo, and benefic Mercury is placed in the tenth house in Aquarius. In this case, the native may engage in finance industry. She may get a well-paying job in a well-established bank, and she may witness good amount of success, recognition and growth, over the years.
If benefic Sun is placed in the tenth house in Aquarius with Mercury, and benefic retrograde Saturn is placed in the fifth house in Virgo with Jupiter and Rahu, the equation may become better. In this case, the native may possess wonderful abilities, and she may witness a lot of success, recognition and growth through her profession, along with good amount of money and fame. She may enjoy a very good career, and she may keep achieving more and more with time. If the finer factors and running times are supportive, she may serve as president or CEO of a well-established bank, for many years.
On the other hand, malefic retrograde Jupiter in the fifth house of a horoscope in Virgo can trouble the native with problems related to marriage (female), husband, friends, love life, children, lifespan, profession, finances, reputation, authority, recognition and several other problems, depending on his/her overall horoscope and running times.
Jupiter rules the eighth and eleventh house, and it is placed in the fifth house. If such retrograde Jupiter is influenced by malefic planets, and/or an overall malefic horoscope, the native may witness various types of problems related to his/her children, marriage (female), husband, lifespan and/or friends. Considering children, the native may witness delay in childbirth, and/or he may have children who may be physically and/or mentally troubled in some way. He may lose his children through divorce, or his children may engage in immoral/illegal activities, and he may witness bad reputation and many other problems due to them. Considering lifespan, the native may witness reduction in lifespan due to several reasons. For example, he may die in an accident, through a natural disaster, due to a fatal disease, due to a fatal viral infection like COVID, due to drug addiction, he may commit suicide, or someone may kill him.
Taking an example, suppose malefic retrograde Jupiter is placed in the fifth house of a horoscope in Virgo with malefic Mars. Malefic Ketu is placed in the sixth house in Libra with Moon, malefic Rahu is placed in the eleventh house in Aries with debilitated Saturn, and Venus is placed in the seventh house in Scorpio. Grahan Yoga is formed in the sixth house. In this case, the native may not find a permanent profession till his age of 35 or 40, and he may remain jobless for periods of more than 3 months, many times in his life. He may die before his age of 60 or 55.
If Sun is placed in the seventh house in Scorpio with Venus, and retrograde Mercury is placed in the sixth house in Libra with Moon and Ketu, the equation may become more troublesome. In this case, the native may witness professional instability throughout his life, and he may remain jobless for periods of more than 6 months, many times in his life. He may also witness 1 or 2 failed marriages. He may die before his age of 45 or 40, due to a heart attack or in an accident.
