When Ketu is malefic in a horoscope and it afflicts Sun by virtue of its placement in some house of the horoscope along with Sun, Pitra Dosh is formed in the horoscope due to malefic Ketu. Similarly, if malefic and fully active Ketu is placed in the ninth house of a horoscope or it is placed with the lord of the ninth house in a horoscope, Pitra Dosh is formed in the horoscope. Pitra Dosh formed by Ketu can trouble the native with many types of problems which may differ from person to person depending on the overall tone of their horoscopes.
Ketu is a fierce planet like Mars and it behaves very much like Mars. Accordingly, it shares many of its significances with Mars. For example, Ketu also signifies people engaging in army, police force and other such professional spheres which come under the significance of Mars. For example, the presence of this type of Pitra Dosh in a horoscope can indicate that the native or his ancestors misused their courage, physical strength and bravery to scare and rob people in their previous lives. The sufferings of the people hurt by this native formed karmic debt of Ketu and as a result, malefic Ketu may form this type of Pitra Dosh in the horoscope of this native, which may trouble him a lot on many fronts of his life.
Some natives under the malefic influence of this type of Pitra Dosh may be born with some physical or mental disabilities whereas some other natives under the impact of this type of Pitra Dosh may get afflicted by some serious diseases during their youth or during their middle ages. Such diseases can make these natives lose one or more than one limb due to which these natives may have to depend on other people; even in order to do their day to day work. The quantum of sufferings imposed by such Pitra Dosh on a native under its impact depends on the quantum of bad karmas done by the native in his past lives. For instance, a native suffering from this type of Pitra Dosh may get his gall bladder removed due to malfunctioning of this organ, when such Pitra Dosh is medium in strength. For example, if Pitra Dosh is formed due to the presence of malefic Ketu in the fourth house of a horoscope in the sign of Virgo along with malefic debilitated Venus and Sun; and malefic Rahu is placed in the tenth house of this horoscope in the sign of Pisces, the native may face such problems. The native troubled by such Pitra Dosh may suffer from the loss of an organ like gall bladder or even a kidney as these organs may start malfunctioning and they may disturb the overall working of the system of his body.
At the same time, if malefic Saturn is placed in the third house of this horoscope in the sign of Leo along with malefic Mercury; and malefic Mars is placed in the sixth house of this horoscope in the sign of Scorpio when all other malefic planets are placed in the already mentioned houses of this horoscope, the problem may intensify. The native under the collective influence of such Pitra Dosh and other malefic planets may suffer from a serious health condition and he may die during the surgery performed in order to treat this native for such health condition.
Some natives suffering from this type of Pitra Dosh may be aggressive in nature and such aggressive nature can make them engage in some type of fights; many times in their lives. Such fights can make these natives suffer on account of physical injuries and on account of police cases due to the malefic impact of such Pitra Dosh. In an extreme case of this type when such Pitra Dosh is strong and it is supported by other malefic planets in a horoscope, the native under its impact may get seriously injured or killed in a bloody fight; or he may kill a person in such fight and he may have to spend many years of his life in prison by virtue of being convicted for a murder.
Ketu also signifies male children, orphans and particularly male orphans and accordingly; the natives who have engaged in bad karmas or crimes towards male children or orphans in their previous lives are likely to suffer from this type of Pitra Dosh in their present lives. For example, the presence of this type of Pitra Dosh in the fifth house of a horoscope can indicate that the native or his ancestors intentionally hurt, molested, harmed or killed young children during their previous lives. The sufferings of such children formed karmic debt on the native and as a result, malefic Ketu may form this type of Pitra Dosh in the horoscope of this native, which can trouble him with problems related to children or with problems coming through children. Some natives suffering from this type of Pitra Dosh may have to face many problems in order to produce children and they may not witness the birth of their first child till late or very late in their lives.
Some other natives under the malefic impact of such Pitra Dosh may have to suffer on account of abortions of their children or from the birth of dead children and they may only witness live children after many abortions and miscarriages. In an extreme case of its type when such Pitra Dosh is strong and it is supported by other malefic planets of a specific type, the native under its impact may remain childless throughout his life. If such native happens to be a female native, she may not only remain childless due to the malefic impact of such Pitra Dosh, she may also have to suffer from serious health problems related to her reproductive organs and she may even die due to such health problems.
For example, if in case of a female native, Pitra Dosh is formed due to the presence of malefic Ketu in the fifth house of her horoscope in the sign of Scorpio along with Jupiter, she may face problems related to conceiving and delivering children. It should be noted that when a combination of malefic Ketu and Jupiter is placed in the fifth house of a horoscope in the sign of Scorpio, the sign Pisces ruled by Jupiter falls in the ninth house of such horoscope, which makes Jupiter the lord of the ninth house. Hence the affliction of malefic Ketu to Jupiter in this case forms Pitra Dosh and the female native having this defect may suffer from problems related to her reproductive system, and she may not be able to conceive and deliver children due to such problems, till late in her life.
This female native troubled by such Pitra Dosh may also have to face abortions and miscarriages before she may witness the birth of her first live child. At the same time, if Sun is also placed in the fifth house of this horoscope in the sign of Scorpio along with malefic Ketu and Jupiter; and a malefic combination of Saturn and Mars is placed in the sixth house of this horoscope in the sign of Sagittarius; the problem may intensify. The native under the collective influence of such double Pitra Dosh may face great difficulties in conceiving and delivering children. Though such female native may still deliver a child after many failed attempts to do so, she may have to pay a heavy price. The combined effect of such Pitra Dosh and other malefic planets may trouble this female native with very serious health conditions during her period of conception and she may have to suffer of lot. If such Pitra Dosh is very strong and the running time is also very bad, this female native may die while delivering a child.

Similarly, the formation of this type of Pitra Dosh due to malefic Ketu can indicate many other types of bad karmas related to the significances of Ketu which were done by the native or his ancestors in their past lives. Such karmas formed karmic debt related to Ketu due to which Ketu becomes malefic and it forms Pitra Dosh in the horoscope of the native. Like always, the type of problems witnessed by a native suffering from such Pitra Dosh and the quantum of such problems depends on the type and quantum of bad karmas committed by such native in his past lives.
