Characteristics of Gemini
Gemini is taken as the third among 12 zodiac signs, in Vedic astrology. It is ruled by Mercury. It features three nakshatras. The last two quarters of Mrigashira, all four quarters of Ardra and the first three quarters of Punarvasu nakshatra fall in this sign. This sign features 9 navamshas ranging from Libra to Gemini. Libra to Scorpio navamshas are ruled by Mrigashira, Sagittarius to Pisces navamshas are ruled by Ardra and Aries to Gemini navamshas are ruled by Punarvasu nakshatra. Gemini represents air element and it is taken as a masculine sign.
Looking at characteristics of Gemini; it is a flexible, witty, intelligent, outgoing, impulsive, unreliable and indecisive sign. Natives under its strong influence may love to interact and they generally mean well for everyone. They may be chatty as well as interesting and they may engage in long conversations. They may be comfortable with both genders and they tend to make friends from all genders, races and classes. They may love adventures, travel and tourism whereas they may lack commitment as well as maturity. They may be more like teenagers who are full of life as well as adventures but who may not be relied upon due to lack of commitment and maturity.
