Exalted Sun in Twelfth House of Horoscope

When exalted Sun is placed in the twelfth house in a horoscope, Taurus rises in the ascendant. Exalted Sun is benefic in the twelfth house in many cases though it may turn malefic in some cases. This generally happens when Sun is afflicted by malefic planets, such as through conjunction and/or aspects. As the number of malefic planets and the strengths of such planets increase, Sun may become more malefic.

If exalted Sun is afflicted by two or more than two malefic planets in the twelfth house, it may turn significantly or highly malefic. Apart from that, the overall theme of horoscope having such exalted Sun can also turn it malefic in some cases, when such theme is malefic. The twelfth house is a difficult to handle house. Looking at mother, suppose a combination of exalted Sun and Venus is placed in the twelfth house of a horoscope in Aries. In this case, the native may face various types of problems related to his mother, depending on his overall horoscope. For instance, if Moon is placed in the sixth house in Libra and Saturn is placed in the fourth house in Leo, native’s mother may suffer from health problems which may trouble her a lot.

Looking at another variation, suppose the recent placements of Moon and Saturn are annulled. Suppose Moon is placed in the eighth house in Sagittarius along with malefic Ketu, Rahu is placed in the second house in Gemini, malefic Mars is placed in the fourth house in Leo and malefic exalted Jupiter is placed in the third house in Cancer. Looking at health, suppose a combination of exalted Sun and Jupiter is placed in the twelfth house of a horoscope in Aries. A combination of exalted Venus and debilitated Mercury is placed in the eleventh house in Pisces, Rahu is placed in the second house in Gemini and Ketu is placed in the eighth house in Sagittarius. In this case, the native may get addicted to harmful drugs, he may consume them on regular basis and he may suffer from various types of health problems. If Saturn is placed in the eighth house in Sagittarius with malefic Ketu, and debilitated Moon is placed in the seventh house in Scorpio with malefic Mars, the equation may become worse. The native may die before the age of 35, likely due to drug overdose or due to a serious health issue created by consumption of harmful drugs on regular basis.
