Exalted Sun in Sixth House

When exalted Sun is placed in the sixth house in a horoscope, Scorpio rises in the ascendant. Exalted Sun is benefic in the sixth house in many cases though it may turn malefic in some cases. This generally happens when Sun is afflicted by malefic planets, such as through conjunction and/or aspects. As the number of malefic planets and the strengths of such planets increase, Sun may become more malefic.

If exalted Sun is afflicted by two or more than two malefic planets in the sixth house, it may turn significantly or highly malefic. Apart from that, the overall theme of horoscope having such exalted Sun can also turn it malefic in some cases, when such theme is highly malefic. The concept of benefic planets turning malefic due to influences of malefic planets has been explained in Manglik Dosh section of the book ‘Match Making and Manglik Dosh (Revised Edition)’.

Let’s look at some results which may be given by exalted Sun in the sixth house when it is benefic. Benefic exalted Sun in the sixth house can bless the native with good results related to profession, finances, health, lifespan, victory over enemies and several other good results, depending on his overall horoscope.

Looking at profession, such benefic exalted Sun can bless the native with success as a bank officer, police officer, army officer, politician, lawyer, judge, administrative officer, teacher, doctor, engineer, information and technology professional, software developer, coach, trainer, motivational speaker, consultant, healer, astrologer, numerologist, spiritual guru, religious guru or another professional, depending on his overall horoscope.

Taking an example, suppose benefic exalted Sun is placed in the sixth house of a horoscope in Aries along with Mercury. A combination of Moon and Mars is placed in the tenth house in Leo and benefic Saturn is placed in the fourth house in Aquarius. In this case, the native may become a police officer, army officer or revenue officer, depending on his overall horoscope. For example, if benefic Jupiter is placed in the tenth house in Leo along with Moon and Mars, the native may become a revenue officer.

Looking at another probability, if benefic Jupiter is placed in the sixth house in Aries with exalted Sun and Mercury, the native may become a police officer. If in the same horoscope, Venus is placed in the eighth house in Gemini, Rahu is placed in the third house in Capricorn and Ketu is placed in the ninth house in Cancer, the native may become an army officer.

Taking another example, suppose benefic exalted Sun is placed in the sixth house of a horoscope in Aries and Mercury is placed in the seventh house in Taurus. A benefic combination of Jupiter and Saturn is placed in the tenth house in Leo and a benefic combination of exalted Mars and Moon is placed in the third house in Capricorn. In this case, the native may become a judge or an administrative officer, depending on his overall horoscope. For example, if exalted Venus is placed in the fifth house in Pisces, the native may become an administrative officer. On the other hand, if Venus is placed in the eighth house in Gemini, the native may become a judge.

On the other hand, malefic exalted Sun in the sixth house can trouble the native with problems related to profession, health, credibility, reputation, marriage, finances, enemies and several other problems, depending on his overall horoscope. Such malefic Sun can trouble the native through professional rivals and enemies.

Taking an example, suppose exalted Sun is placed in the sixth house of a horoscope in Aries along with Venus. Mars is placed in the first house in Scorpio and Jupiter is placed in the eleventh house in Virgo. In this case, the native may have enemies from professional as well as personal sphere and they may trouble him a lot. If malefic Mercury is placed in the sixth house in Aries along with exalted Sun and Venus; Rahu is placed in the fifth house in Pisces and malefic Ketu is placed in the eleventh house in Virgo with Jupiter, the problem may intensify. In this case, the native may witness serious losses through his enemies. If the overall horoscope, finer factors and running times are also against the native, his enemies may get him killed through a planned murder.

Malefic exalted Sun in the sixth house can delay the professional settlement of the native and it can also create setbacks from time to time. Taking an example, suppose a combination of exalted Sun and Mars is placed in the sixth house in Aries. A combination of Venus and Mercury is placed in the seventh house in Taurus, a combination of Saturn and Ketu is placed in the fifth house in Pisces and Rahu is placed in the eleventh house in Virgo. In this case, the native may not find a stable profession till the age of 33. If Moon is placed in the eighth house in Gemini and Jupiter is placed in the twelfth house in Libra, the equation may become worse. The native may not find a stable profession throughout his life. The native may only find temporary jobs from time to time, and he may also have to remain jobless between job changes.

Apart from these, malefic exalted Sun in the sixth house can trouble the native with several other problems, depending on his overall horoscope.
