Exalted Rahu in Eighth House
Rahu is exalted in Taurus as well as in Virgo. For the sake of this discussion, we’ll consider both these placements of Rahu. Exalted Rahu in the eighth house of a horoscope is benefic in some cases whereas it is malefic in some cases. The influences of other benefic and/or malefic planets on Rahu, and the overall theme of horoscope are important criteria when it comes to decide the functional nature of Rahu in a horoscope.
As the number and strengths of benefic and/or malefic planets influencing Rahu in a horoscope increase, Rahu may become more benefic or malefic. If such exalted Rahu is influenced by malefic planets, and/or an overall malefic horoscope, the native may witness various types of problems related to or through his health and/or lifespan. He may witness reduction in lifespan due to several reasons.
