Debilitated Venus in Ninth House
When debilitated Venus is placed in the ninth house in a horoscope, Capricorn rises in the ascendant. Debilitated Venus is benefic in the ninth house in most cases though it may turn malefic in some cases. This may happen when Venus is afflicted by malefic planets, such as through conjunction and/or aspects. As the number of malefic planets and the strengths of such planets increase, Venus may become more malefic.
Since Venus is weak due to debilitation, it may become easy for malefic planets to add negativity to Venus. If debilitated Venus is afflicted by one or more than one malefic planet in the ninth house, it may turn significantly or highly malefic. The problems related to marriage may intensify if the native is male whereas the problems related to children may intensify if the native is female. Taking an example for a male native, suppose debilitated Venus is placed in the ninth house of a horoscope in Virgo with malefic Sun. Mercury is placed in the eighth house in Leo, benefic Moon is placed in the fourth house in Aries, malefic Rahu is placed in the sixth house in Gemini and malefic Ketu is placed in the twelfth house in Sagittarius with malefic Jupiter.
In this case, the native may get married in time but he may face serious problems in his marriage, primarily related to mental compatibility between him and his wife. The couple may have one or more children and their marriage may fail after some years. The native may lose the custody of his children through divorce and he may also have to face a court case, in order to finalize such divorce. The native may settle in his second or third marriage, depending on the finer factors and running times.
If this is the horoscope of a female native, she may witness delay in marriage. She may not get married till the age of 35 or 40, unless there are grace saving factors in her horoscope. Looking at such factors, suppose benefic Mars is placed in the fourth house in Aries with Moon, and benefic exalted Saturn forms Shasha Yoga in the tenth house in Libra. Ruchaka Yoga as well as Chandra Mangal Yoga is formed in the fourth house and Moon rules the seventh house. In this case, the native may get married between the age of 25 and 30.
