Debilitated Sun in Third House
When debilitated Sun is placed in the third house in a horoscope, Leo rises in the ascendant. Debilitated Sun is benefic in the third house in most cases though it may turn malefic in some cases. This may happen when Sun is afflicted by malefic planets, such as through conjunction and/or aspects. As the number of malefic planets and the strengths of such planets increase, Sun may become more malefic.
Since Sun is weak due to debilitation, it may become easy for malefic planets to add negativity to Sun. If debilitated Sun is afflicted by one or more than one malefic planet in the third house, it may turn significantly or highly malefic. Apart from that, the overall theme of horoscope having such debilitated Sun can also turn it malefic in some cases, when such theme is malefic. Taking an example, suppose benefic debilitated Sun and benefic Venus are placed in the third house of a horoscope in Libra. Exalted Jupiter is placed in the twelfth house in Cancer, benefic Rahu is placed in the eleventh house in Gemini with Moon, and Ketu is placed in the fifth house in Sagittarius. Benefic Venus may cancel the debilitation status of Sun, and Neechbhanga Rajyoga may be formed in the third house. In this case, the native may engage in travel industry, hotel industry or airline industry, depending on his overall horoscope and running times. The native may have a business of his own, related to one of these fields and he may witness good amount of success, money and recognition.
If benefic Mercury is placed in the third house in Libra with Sun and Venus, benefic Mars is placed in the first house in Leo and Saturn is placed in the seventh house in Aquarius, the equation may become better. Benefic Mercury and Venus may provide a lot of extra strength to Sun. Hence it may completely get out of debilitation and this combination may produce wonderful results, in tune with the overall strong and positive horoscope. In this case, the native may own an airline and he may come across very good amount of success, money, recognition and fame through his profession. The native may witness very good results after 40, even better results after 50 and wonderful results after 60. He may have more than two businesses after the age of 50 and he may have multiple businesses after 60. The native may get blessed with a beautiful and loyal wife who may support him in almost every sphere of his life.
Apart from these, benefic debilitated Sun in the third house of horoscope can bless the native with several other good results, depending on his overall horoscope.
On the other hand, malefic debilitated Sun in the third house of horoscope can trouble the native with problems related to health, lifespan, father, profession, finances, wealth, reputation, status, siblings, colleagues and several other problems, depending on his overall horoscope.
When Sun is placed in the third house in Libra, Leo rises in the ascendant. Hence Sun rules the first house. Since Sun is weak due to debilitation, the native may suffer from various types of health problems which may trouble him, and which may reduce his lifespan. Taking an example, suppose debilitated Sun is placed in the third house of a horoscope in Libra with malefic exalted Saturn. It should be noted that Neechbhanga Rajyoga may not be formed in this case, since Saturn is malefic. On the contrary, such malefic Saturn may render a lot of negativity to Sun, since Sun is weak and Saturn is very strong. Hence Sun may become partly malefic and the overall combination in the third house may become duly malefic. As a result, the native may suffer from problems related to health, lifespan, father and profession among other problems. Suppose Jupiter as well as malefic Ketu is placed in the third house in Libra with Sun and Saturn, malefic Rahu is placed in the ninth house in Aries, Venus is placed in the fourth house in Scorpio, benefic exalted Mercury is placed in the second house in Virgo and debilitated Mars is placed in the twelfth house in Cancer. In this case, the third house as well as the overall horoscope becomes highly malefic. The native may lose his father during his childhood. The native may suffer from serious health problems and he may die before the age of 40, 35, or 30, depending on his overall horoscope and running times.
If malefic Moon is placed in the third house in Libra with Sun, Jupiter, Saturn and Ketu; the equation may become even more troublesome. Sun as well as Jupiter may turn highly malefic due to strong afflictions from Saturn, Moon and Ketu. Mars being the lord of the ninth as well as fourth house is debilitated and placed in the twelfth house which is a difficult house. Moon being the general signifier of mother is stuck in a highly malefic combination. Sun being the general signifier of father and being the lord of the ascendant is also stuck in a highly malefic combination. As a result, the native may die in an accident during young age, along with his father as well as mother.
Apart from theses, malefic debilitated Sun in the third house of horoscope can trouble the native with several other problems, depending on his overall horoscope.
