Debilitated Rahu in Sixth House
Rahu is debilitated in Scorpio as well as in Pisces. For the sake of this discussion, we’ll consider both these placements of Rahu. Debilitated Rahu is benefic in the sixth house in some cases whereas it may turn malefic in some cases. The influences of other benefic and malefic planets on Rahu and the overall theme of horoscope are important criteria when it comes to decide the functional nature of Rahu in a horoscope.
As the number and strengths of benefic and/or malefic planets influencing Rahu in a horoscope increase, Rahu may become more benefic or malefic. Taking an example, suppose debilitated Rahu is placed in the sixth house of a horoscope in Scorpio with Venus. Benefic exalted Mercury is placed in the fourth house in Virgo with Mars, Saturn is placed in the seventh house in Sagittarius, benefic Sun is placed in the third house in Leo and debilitated Ketu is placed in the twelfth house in Taurus. Benefic Mercury forms Bhadra Yoga in the fourth house. In this case, the native may engage in the field of software or IT. The native may witness good results after 35, better results after 40 and even better results after 50.
If benefic Jupiter is placed in the third house in Leo with Sun, and benefic Moon is placed in the eleventh house in Aries, the equation may become better. In this case, the native may engage in the field of IT. He may start a business of his own, and he may come across very good amount of success, money and recognition through such business. The native may earn millions after the age of 35 or 40, and he may earn even more after the age of 50. On the other hand, malefic debilitated Rahu in the sixth house of horoscope can trouble the native with problems related to health, lifespan, profession, finances, reputation, court cases and several other types of bad results, depending on his overall horoscope and running times.
Such malefic Rahu can trouble the native with various types of health problems and it can also cause financial losses, bad reputation and court cases through profession or personal life. Taking an example, suppose malefic debilitated Rahu is placed in the sixth house of a horoscope in Pisces with exalted Venus and malefic Jupiter. Venus is partly malefic in horoscopes with Pisces ascendant. Rahu and Jupiter may transfer a lot of negative energy to Venus. Hence Venus may turn significantly/highly malefic, and the overall combination in the sixth house may turn duly malefic. Suppose malefic debilitated Ketu is placed in the twelfth house in Virgo with Saturn, and Mercury is placed in the eighth house in Taurus with Sun. In this case, the native may suffer from serious problems related to profession, health, finances and marriage, among other problems. He may suffer from a serious disease which may trouble him a lot and it may claim his life before the age of 55. If Mars is placed in the sixth house in Pisces with Jupiter, Venus and Rahu; and Moon is placed in the fifth house in Aquarius, the equation may become more troublesome. In this case, the native may face one or two broken marriages, he may suffer from serious losses through profession and/or he may remain jobless for long periods of time; and he may die before the age of 45 or 40. The native may die because of some type of cancer or because of a sexually transmitted disease like HIV AIDS.
