Debilitated Rahu in Second House
Rahu is debilitated in Scorpio as well as in Pisces. For the sake of this discussion, we’ll consider both these placements of Rahu. Debilitated Rahu is benefic in the second house in some cases whereas it may turn malefic in some cases. The influences of other benefic and malefic planets on Rahu and the overall theme of horoscope are important criteria when it comes to decide the functional nature of Rahu in a horoscope.

Taking an example, suppose malefic debilitated Rahu is placed in the second house of a horoscope in Pisces with Sun. Grahan Yoga is formed in the second house. Malefic debilitated Ketu is placed in the eighth house in Virgo, Venus is placed in the twelfth house in Capricorn, debilitated Saturn in placed in the third house in Aries, exalted Jupiter is placed in the sixth house in Cancer and malefic Moon is placed in the ninth house in Libra. In this case, native’s father may be addicted to alcohol and/or harmful drugs and the native may witness a troubled childhood. He may have a deep impact of his father on him, and he may also get addicted to alcohol and/or drugs of various types.
