Debilitated Rahu in Seventh House
Rahu is debilitated in Scorpio as well as in Pisces. For the sake of this discussion, we’ll consider both these placements of Rahu. Debilitated Rahu is benefic in the seventh house in some cases whereas it may turn malefic in some cases. The influences of other benefic and malefic planets on Rahu and the overall theme of horoscope are important criteria when it comes to decide the functional nature of Rahu in a horoscope.
As the number and strengths of benefic and/or malefic planets influencing Rahu in a horoscope increase, Rahu may become more benefic or malefic. The seventh house primarily deals with marriage. Hence the placement of benefic Rahu in the seventh house can bless the native with several types of good results related to marriage. Taking an example, suppose benefic debilitated Rahu is placed in the seventh house of a horoscope in Scorpio with benefic Mercury. Debilitated Ketu is placed in the first house in Taurus, Venus is placed in the ninth house in Capricorn with benefic Moon, benefic Sun is placed in the eighth house in Sagittarius and Mars is placed in the eleventh house in Pisces. If benefic Saturn is placed in the first house in Taurus with Ketu, and Jupiter is placed in the sixth house in Libra, the equation may become better. In this case, the native may get married to a woman who may belong to a powerful political family. On the other hand, malefic debilitated Rahu in the seventh house of horoscope can trouble the native with problems related to marriage, husband, wife, profession, finances, reputation and several other problems, depending on his overall horoscope and running times.
Such malefic Rahu can trouble the native with delay in marriage, disturbances after marriage and/or one or more failed marriages. Taking an example, suppose malefic debilitated Rahu is placed in the seventh house of a horoscope in Scorpio with malefic Jupiter. Guru Chandal Yoga is formed in the seventh house. Malefic debilitated Ketu is placed in the first house in Taurus with Venus, benefic exalted Sun is placed in the twelfth house in Aries, malefic Mars is placed in the fourth house in Leo and Moon is placed in the eighth house in Sagittarius. In this case, the native may get married before the age of 30 or 25. However, he may face serious disturbances in his marriage and the marriage may eventually fail. The divorce may be finalized in a court, after much drama. The native may settle in his second marriage, if the overall horoscope and finer factors are favourable.
If exalted Saturn is placed in the sixth house in Libra and Mercury is placed in the first house in Taurus with Venus and Ketu, the equation may become more troublesome for marriage. In this case, the native may witness two or three failed marriages and he may settle in his third or fourth marriage. The native may lose one wife to death and one or two wives to divorces. It may also happen that the native may witness 2 or 3 failed marriages and he may then remain single for the rest of his life.
