Debilitated Rahu in Eighth House
Rahu is debilitated in Scorpio as well as in Pisces. For the sake of this discussion, we’ll consider both these placements of Rahu. Debilitated Rahu is benefic in the eighth house in some cases whereas it may turn malefic in some cases. The influences of other benefic and malefic planets on Rahu and the overall theme of horoscope are important criteria when it comes to decide the functional nature of Rahu in a horoscope.
As the number and strengths of benefic and/or malefic planets influencing Rahu in a horoscope increase, Rahu may become more benefic or malefic. Taking an example, suppose benefic debilitated Rahu is placed in the eighth house of a horoscope in Scorpio with benefic Sun and Mercury. On the other hand, malefic debilitated Rahu in the eighth house of horoscope can trouble the native with problems related to health, lifespan, profession, finances, reputation, court cases, unfortunate events and several other problems, depending on his overall horoscope and running times.
Such malefic Rahu can trouble the native with various types of health problems and it can also have negative impact on his lifespan. Taking an example, suppose malefic debilitated Rahu is placed in the eighth house of a horoscope in Pisces with Jupiter. Guru Chandal Yoga is formed in the eighth house. Benefic Sun is placed in the tenth house in Taurus with malefic exalted Moon, benefic Mercury is placed in the eleventh house in Gemini, Venus is placed in the twelfth house in Cancer, and malefic debilitated Ketu is placed in the second house in Virgo. In this case, the native may suffer from various types of health problems which may trouble him and they may reduce his lifespan. Hence the native may die before the age of 65, 60 or 55, depending on his overall horoscope and running times.
If malefic Saturn is placed in the eighth house in Pisces with Jupiter and Rahu, and debilitated Mars is placed in the twelfth house in Cancer with Venus, the equation may become more troublesome. In this case, the native may suffer from serious health problems which may aggravate after the age of 30, they may trouble him a lot and the native may die before the age of 45, 40 or 35. The native may die because of heart attack or some type of cancer, depending on the finer factors and running times. It may also happen that the native may catch a fatal viral infection like COVID, between his age of 30 and 40, and he may die because of it.
