Debilitated Moon in Fourth House
When debilitated Moon is placed in the fourth house in a horoscope, Leo rises in the ascendant. Debilitated Moon is malefic in the fourth house in many cases though it may turn benefic in some cases. This may happen when Moon is influenced by benefic planets, such as through conjunction and/or aspects. As the number of benefic planets and the strengths of such planets increase, Moon may become more benefic.
Since Moon is weak due to debilitation, it may become easy for benefic planets to add positivity to Moon. If debilitated Moon is influenced by one or more than one benefic planet in the fourth house, it may turn significantly or highly benefic. Apart from that, the overall theme of horoscope having such debilitated Moon can also turn it benefic in some cases, when such theme is benefic. Let’s look at some results which may be given by debilitated Moon in the fourth house when it is benefic. Such benefic debilitated Moon can bless the native with good results related to mother, education, properties, vehicles, profession, finances, wealth and several other good results, depending on his overall horoscope.
Such debilitated Moon can bless the native with various types of good results related to or through his mother, especially when Moon is joined by benefic planet/planets. Native’s mother may be a doctor, an officer in government, astrologer, psychic, spiritual guru, scientist, discoverer, explorer, analyst, politician, or some other type of professional, depending on his overall horoscope. The native may also settle abroad on the basis of his mother, if his overall horoscope is supportive.
Taking an example, suppose debilitated Moon is placed in the fourth house of a horoscope in Scorpio with benefic Mars. Benefic Sun is placed in the second house in Virgo with Rahu, Ketu is placed in the eighth house in Pisces, benefic Mercury is placed in the first house in Leo and benefic Venus is placed in the twelfth house in Cancer. In this case, native’s mother may get married to a man who may be the citizen of a foreign country and she may settle abroad on the basis of her marriage. The native may receive the citizenship of such foreign country on the basis of his parents. His mother may be a doctor or scientist and the native may enjoy a good relationship with his mother. The native may himself engage in finance industry or he may be a scientific researcher and he may come across good amount of success, money and recognition in such foreign country, depending on his overall horoscope and running times.
Such benefic debilitated Moon can help the native achieve success as a doctor, scientist, researcher, analyst, discoverer, teacher, consultant, astrologer, psychic, tantric, spiritual guru, healer, magician, revenue officer, foreign services offer, army officer, naval officer, politician or some other type of professional, depending on his overall horoscope.
Apart from these, benefic debilitated Moon in the fourth house can bless the native with several other good results, depending on his overall horoscope.
On the other hand, malefic debilitated Moon in the fourth house of horoscope can trouble the native with problems related to mother, education, wealth, properties, marriage, profession, reputation, finances, mental health and several other problems, depending on his overall horoscope.
Whenever malefic debilitated Moon is placed in the fourth house, the two spheres which may witness maximum damage are the affairs related to mother and those related to mental health. Hence the native may witness problems related to both these spheres and such problems may aggravate, if such Moon is joined by other malefic planet/planets.
Looking at the sphere of mother, the native may not have good relationship with his mother, he may spend his childhood away from his mother for various reasons, his parents may get divorced and the native may live with his father, his mother may be mentally ill or there may be some other problem related to his mother. In an extreme case, the native may lose his mother to death, during childhood.
Taking an example, suppose malefic debilitated Moon is placed in the fourth house of a horoscope in Scorpio with malefic debilitated Rahu. Debilitated Ketu is placed in the tenth house in Taurus, malefic Saturn is placed in the seventh house in Aquarius and debilitated Mars is placed in the twelfth house in Cancer. In this case, native’s mother may suffer from mental as well as physical health issues and the native may not enjoy the love of his mother. He may lose his mother before the age of 20 or 15, depending on the overall horoscope and running times.
If exalted Jupiter is placed in the twelfth house in Cancer with debilitated Mars, Sun is placed in the fourth house in Scorpio with Moon and Rahu, and a benefic combination of Mercury and Venus is placed in the fifth house in Sagittarius, the equation may become more troublesome. In this case, the native may lose his mother to death, before the age of 10 years. She may die because of a serious mental and/or physical illness. Native’s father may get married again and the native may have a troublesome relationship with his stepmother.
Taking another example, suppose malefic debilitated Moon is placed in the fourth house of a horoscope in Scorpio with malefic Saturn. Exalted Mars is placed in the sixth house in Capricorn with malefic Ketu, malefic Rahu is placed in the twelfth house in Cancer and debilitated Venus is placed in the second house in Virgo. In this case, the native may suffer from mental health problems and he may have to avail treatment for many years or throughout his life, depending on his overall horoscope and running times. Natives’ mother may also suffer from such problems and she may pass them on to the native.
If Sun is placed in the twelfth house in Cancer with Rahu, benefic Mercury is placed in the first house in Leo and debilitated Jupiter is placed in the sixth house in Capricorn with Mars and Ketu, the equation may become more troublesome. In this case, the native may suffer from a serious mental disease and he may not recover from it, throughout his life. He may spend many years in a mental asylum. Depending on the finer factor and running times, the native may die before the age of 50 or 40. He may die in a mental asylum.
Apart from these, malefic debilitated Moon in the fourth house can trouble the native with several other problems, depending on his overall horoscope.
