Debilitated Mars in Tenth House
When debilitated Mars is placed in the tenth house in a horoscope, Libra rises in the ascendant. Debilitated Mars is benefic in the tenth house in most cases though it may turn malefic in some cases. This may happen when Mars is afflicted by malefic planets, such as through conjunction and/or aspects. As the number of malefic planets and the strengths of such planets increase, Mars may become more malefic.
Since Mars is weak due to debilitation, it may become easy for malefic planets to add negativity to Mars. If debilitated Mars is afflicted by one or more than one malefic planet in the tenth house, it may turn significantly or highly malefic. Apart from that, the overall theme of horoscope having such debilitated Mars can also turn it malefic in some cases, when such theme is malefic. In horoscopes with Libra ascendant, Mars rules the second and seventh house. The seventh house deals with marriage as well as husband/wife, among other things. The second house deals with family, among other things. Hence the second house also deals with marriage in a way, since marriage is associated with making and expanding family. Such debilitated Mars can trouble the native with delay in marriage, disturbances after marriage and/or one or more failed marriages, depending on his overall horoscope and running times.
Taking an example, suppose debilitated Mars is placed in the tenth house of a horoscope in Cancer with malefic exalted Jupiter. Venus is placed in the first house in Libra with debilitated Sun, Mercury is placed in the second house in Scorpio, malefic Rahu is placed in the sixth house in Pisces and malefic Ketu is placed in the twelfth house in Virgo. In this case, the native may get married before the age of 30 or even before 25. However, he may have serious differences of opinion with his wife, and the marriage may eventually fail due to such differences. The native may get married again and he may settle in his second marriage, if his overall horoscope and running times are supportive.
If Saturn is placed in the eleventh house in Leo and Moon is placed in the third house in Sagittarius, the equation may become more troublesome for marriage. In this case, the native may suffer from two or three failed marriages, on account of serious disturbances in them. Hence the native ma settle in his third or fourth marriage, which may take place around his age of 40 years.
