Debilitated Ketu in Eleventh House
Ketu is debilitated in Taurus as well as in Virgo. For the sake of this discussion, we’ll consider both these placements of Ketu. Debilitated Ketu is benefic in the eleventh house in some cases whereas it may turn malefic in some cases. The influences of other benefic and malefic planets on Ketu and the overall theme of horoscope are important criteria when it comes to decide the functional nature of Ketu in a horoscope.
As the number and strengths of benefic and/or malefic planets influencing Ketu in a horoscope increase, Ketu may become more benefic or malefic. The native may achieve more and more success with passing years, and he may earn millions by the age of 50 or 60.
If benefic Mars is placed in the eleventh house in Taurus with Venus and Ketu, and Mercury is placed in the tenth house in Aries with Sun, the equation may become better. The overall horoscope may become positive and strong enough to handle the energy of the sixth house. Hence Jupiter may form Vipreet Rajyoga in the eighth house. Such malefic debilitated Ketu can trouble the native with financial losses, setbacks, delays, job loss, bad reputation, discontinuation of profession, court cases and several other problems related to or through his profession. Taking an example, suppose malefic debilitated Ketu is placed in the eleventh house of a horoscope in Virgo with malefic debilitated Venus. Debilitated Rahu is placed in the fifth house in Pisces, debilitated Sun is placed in the twelfth house in Libra, Saturn is placed in the tenth house in Leo, Moon is placed in the eighth house in Gemini and benefic Jupiter is placed in the fourth house in Aquarius. In this case, the native may not find a permanent job till the age of 35 or 40. He may find temporary jobs and they may not pay him well. The native may witness financial tightness, and he may also remain jobless for periods of more than 6 months, many times in his life.
If malefic Mercury is placed in the twelfth house in Libra with Sun, and Mars is placed in the fifth house in Pisces with Rahu, the equation may become more troublesome. In this case, the native may not find a permanent profession, throughout his life, unless the finer factors and running times are really good. He may only find temporary jobs from time to time, and he may remain jobless for periods of 1 year or more, many times in his life. If the finer factors and running time are negative, the native may witness discontinuation of profession after the age of 45 or 50. Hence he may not find any job after this age. The native may also face problems related to marriage. His marriage may be delayed till the age of 40, or he may not get married throughout his life.
