Debilitated Ketu in Sixth House
Ketu is debilitated in Taurus as well as in Virgo. For the sake of this discussion, we’ll consider both these placements of Ketu. Debilitated Ketu in the sixth house of a horoscope is benefic in some cases whereas it is malefic in some cases. The influences of other benefic and/or malefic planets on Ketu, and the overall theme of horoscope are important criteria when it comes to decide the functional nature of Ketu in a horoscope.
As the number and strengths of benefic and/or malefic planets influencing Ketu in a horoscope increase, Ketu may become more benefic or malefic. The native may witness delays, financial losses, setbacks, failures, job loss, bad reputation and several other problems related to or through his profession. He may also become a criminal. Taking an example, suppose malefic debilitated Ketu is placed in the sixth house of a horoscope in Taurus. Malefic debilitated Rahu is placed in the twelfth house in Scorpio with Mars and Saturn; malefic exalted Venus is placed in the fourth house in Pisces, and benefic Sun as well as Mercury is placed in the third house in Aquarius. Angarak Yoga is formed in the twelfth house. In this case, the native may become a criminal, he may engage in several crimes, and he may spend more than 7 years in prison.
If malefic Moon is placed in the fifth house in Aries, and retrograde Jupiter is placed in the eighth house in Cancer, the equation may become more troublesome. In this case, native’s mother may die before his age of 25 or 20. He may become a professional kidnapper as well as killer, and he may kill several people. He may get caught between his age of 35 and 45, and he may spend more than 20 years in prison. If the finer factors and running times are very bad, he may spend more than 30 years in prison, and he may even die in prison.
Taking another example, suppose malefic debilitated Ketu is placed in the sixth house of a horoscope in Virgo with malefic retrograde Mercury. Malefic debilitated Rahu is placed in the twelfth house in Pisces with Mars and retrograde Jupiter; debilitated Sun is placed in the seventh house in Libra, Venus is placed in the eighth house in Scorpio with debilitated Moon; and benefic retrograde Saturn is placed in the fifth house in Leo. Guru Chandal Yoga and Angarak Yoga are formed in the twelfth house.
In this case, native’s mother may die before his age of 15 or 10. He may get addicted to harmful drugs, and he may consume them on regular basis. He may not find a permanent profession throughout his life. He may only find temporary jobs, and he may remain jobless for periods of more than 6 months, many times in his life. His first marriage may fail, and he may not get married again. He may witness health problems, financial problems and bad reputation due to drug addiction. He may die between his age of 35 and 40, due to drug overdose, or failure of a vital organ because of regular consumption of harmful drugs over a long period of time.
