Debilitated Ketu in Tenth House
Ketu is debilitated in Taurus as well as in Virgo. For the sake of this discussion, we’ll consider both these placements of Ketu. Debilitated Ketu in the tenth house of a horoscope is benefic in some cases whereas it is malefic in some cases. The influences of other benefic and/or malefic planets on Ketu, and the overall theme of horoscope are important criteria when it comes to decide the functional nature of Ketu in a horoscope.
As the number and strengths of benefic and/or malefic planets influencing Ketu in a horoscope increase, Ketu may become more benefic or malefic. If benefic Jupiter is placed in the fourth house in Pisces with Sun and Rahu; the equation may become better. Benefic Jupiter forms Hamsa Yoga in the fourth house whereas Jupiter and Rahu form Neechbhang Rajyoga in the same house. In this case, the native may achieve success in civil exams, and he may get selected for the highest possible direct rank in police force. The native may also witness delays, financial losses, setbacks, failures, job loss, bad reputation and several other problems related to or through his profession. He may also become a criminal. Taking an example, suppose malefic debilitated Ketu is placed in the tenth house of a horoscope in Virgo. Malefic debilitated Rahu is placed in the fourth house in Pisces with malefic Moon and retrograde Mercury. Malefic Venus is placed in the third house in Aquarius with Sun; Mars is placed in the first house in Sagittarius, Jupiter is placed in the sixth house in Taurus, and retrograde Saturn is placed in the eleventh house in Libra. Rahu and Moon form Grahan Yoga in the fourth house.
In this case, native’s mother may die before his age of 20 or 15. He may become leader of a criminal group which may engage in drug trafficking, woman trafficking and violent crimes. He may traffic narcotics worth in billions, over some years. He may kidnap and sell several women. He may injure many people, and he may kill some of them. He may get caught between his age of 35 and 45, and he may spend more than 20/30 years in prison. If the finer factors and running times are very bad, he may get killed in an attack by another criminal in prison, between his age of 40 and 50.
Taking another example, suppose malefic debilitated Ketu is placed in the tenth house of a horoscope in Taurus with malefic exalted Moon. Debilitated Rahu is placed in the fourth house in Scorpio, malefic retrograde Saturn is placed in the sixth house in Capricorn with retrograde Jupiter; Sun is placed in the eighth house in Pisces with debilitated Mercury; benefic Venus is placed in the seventh house in Aquarius, and debilitated Mars is placed in the twelfth house in Cancer. Grahan Yoga is formed in the tenth house.
In this case, native’s father may die before his age of 15 or 10. He may not find a permanent profession throughout his life. He may only find temporary jobs, and he may remain jobless for periods of more than 6 months, many times in his life. He may witness financial losses and bad reputation through profession. He may witness 1 or 2 failed marriages, and he may settle in his second or third marriage. He may lose custody of his children from first marriage to his wife, through divorce.
