Looking at another example, suppose benefic Saturn is placed in the first house of a horoscope in Taurus. Saturn rules the ninth and tenth house in this case and it is benefic. Hence Simhasana Yoga may be formed.

Considering another example, suppose benefic exalted Saturn is placed in the tenth house of a horoscope in Libra and benefic Venus is placed in the first house in Capricorn. The lord of tenth house is placed in the first house and the lord of first house is placed in the tenth house. Hence an even better version of Simhasana Yoga may be formed in this case.

Considering another example; suppose benefic debilitated Mars is placed in the first house of a horoscope in Cancer, in Cancer navamsha of Punarvasu nakshatra. Mars rules the tenth house and it is debilitated in its sign of placement as well as in navamsha. Hence an even weaker yoga may be formed. Suppose in the same horoscope; benefic Moon is placed in the tenth house in Aries, in Taurus navamsha of Ashwini nakshatra. Moon may do very well in Taurus navamsha of Ashwini and it rules the first house. Hence the yoga may gain considerable strength in this case.

Taking another example, suppose Saturn is placed in the first house of a horoscope in Taurus, in Taurus navamsha of Rohini nakshatra. Saturn is strong in Taurus, it is comfortable in Rohini and it is strong in Taurus navamsha. Hence strong yoga may be formed in this case.

Suppose Venus is placed in the tenth house of this horoscope in Aquarius, in Libra navamsha of Dhanishtha nakshatra. Venus is strong in this position. However, it is partly benefic and partly malefic. Since two instead of one planet are forming Simhasana Yoga in this case; the spheres it covers may increase in number. However due to Venus being partly malefic; the net strength of this Yoga may decrease. Hence the native may witness some bad results along with good results; related to profession, fame, reputation and other affairs represented by the tenth house.

Let’s take another example. Suppose benefic exalted Saturn is placed in the tenth house of a horoscope in Libra, in Libra navamsha of Chitra; and benefic Venus is placed in the first house in Capricorn, in Pisces navamsha of Uttarashada nakshatra. Saturn and Venus are benefic. Saturn is exalted in its sign of placement as well as in navamsha. Venus is strong in Capricorn and it is exalted in navamsha. Hence among all the examples discussed for Simhasana Yoga, the strongest one may be formed in this case. Such yoga may bless the native with a post of high authority in government; through job or through politics; depending on the rest of his horoscope. If the overall horoscope is strong and supportive; such native may become chief minister, minister in national government, prime minister or president.

Let’s look at influences of other planets as well as the overall theme of horoscope on this yoga. Suppose benefic Jupiter is placed in the first house of a horoscope in Pisces along with malefic Saturn and malefic exalted Ketu. Both Saturn and Ketu may cause serious damage to Jupiter. Hence the strength of Simhasana Yoga may be reduced a lot. Accordingly, the native may not benefit much from this yoga. Suppose a combination of malefic Sun and malefic Venus is placed in the tenth house in Sagittarius and Mercury is placed in the eleventh house in Capricorn. Sun and Venus may afflict the tenth house. Hence Simhasana Yoga may become very weak and the native may not benefit much from it. On the contrary; he may witness a number of problems related to profession, health, lifespan and overall wellbeing.

Let’s see what may happen when this yoga is influenced by benefic planets. Suppose benefic Jupiter is placed in the first house of a horoscope in Pisces along with benefic Mars. Benefic Mars may provide more strength to Jupiter and the overall combination in the first house may become even stronger. Hence the native may benefit more from Simhasana Yoga. Suppose benefic Mercury is placed in the tenth house in Sagittarius, benefic Moon is placed in the seventh house in Virgo, Venus is placed in the twelfth house in Aquarius and Sun is placed in the eleventh house in Capricorn.

Benefic Moon may add more strength to Jupiter and Mars through direct aspect; and Jupiter as well as Mars may also do the same to Moon. Benefic Mercury may add more strength to the tenth house. Sun and Venus may not afflict any planet through conjunctions or direct aspects. Hence the overall horoscope may become much stronger and much more benefic in this case. Accordingly, the native may benefit much more. It should be noted that Shrinath Yoga is also formed in this horoscope; since the lord of seventh house is placed in the tenth house and the lords of ninth and tenth house are placed in conjunction.

After this, the field of impact of Simhasana yoga is checked. It is checked through the placements of planets involved in its formation in various houses of horoscope. In the recent example; Jupiter, Mars and Mercury are placed in the first and tenth house. Hence primary benefits of this yoga may appear in the spheres of profession, reputation, authority, fame, health, overall wellbeing, lifespan and personality.

Jupiter rules the first and tenth house, Mars rules the second and ninth house; and Mercury rules the fourth and seventh house. Hence secondary benefits may appear in the spheres of mother, father, husband, wife, marriage, education, properties, vehicles, finances, wealth, family, speech, spiritual growth and a number of other spheres.

When benefic planets form a yoga in a horoscope; primary benefits may reflect through the houses they are placed in. After that, secondary benefits may reflect through the houses they represent in such horoscope; as well as those related to their general significances. After that, tertiary benefits may appear related to the planets or houses influenced by such planets through direct aspects.
