Considering another example, suppose Moon is placed in the third house of a horoscope in Aquarius, Mars is placed in the fifth house in Aries, Venus is placed in the eighth house in Cancer and Jupiter is placed in the twelfth house in Scorpio. Sagittarius rises in the ascendant. Mars is placed in the third house, Venus is placed in the sixth house and Jupiter is placed in the tenth house with respect to Moon. Moon and Venus are malefic in the horoscope whereas Mars is partly benefic and partly malefic.
Apart from that; Venus and Jupiter are placed in difficult houses. Hence there is direct clash between placements of Venus, Mars and Jupiter counted from ascendant versus those counted from Moon. In real practice; the native may suffer a lot because of such combination of these four planets. Hence Vasumati Yoga may not be formed in this case.
Taking another example for Moon; suppose exalted Moon is placed in the eleventh house of a horoscope in Taurus, exalted Jupiter is placed in the first house in Cancer, exalted Venus is placed in the ninth house in Pisces, Sun is placed in the eighth house in Aquarius and Mars is placed in the fourth house in Libra.
In this case; Moon, Venus and Mars may be highly benefic whereas Sun may be benefic but not highly benefic; depending on their placements in various nakshatras and navamshas within their respective signs. Jupiter is partly benefic and partly malefic. However, due to combined benefic influence of exalted Moon, exalted Venus, Mars and Sun; the overall horoscope may become strong and benefic. Hence Jupiter may turn much more benefic than malefic; and Vasumati Yoga may be formed in this case.
Considering another example; suppose exalted Moon is placed in the third house of a horoscope in Taurus, Mercury is placed in the sixth house in Leo, Jupiter is placed in the tenth house in Sagittarius and exalted Mars is placed in the eleventh house in Capricorn. All these planets are benefic; Mars and Moon are exalted, Jupiter is strong in Sagittarius and Mercury may do well or very well in Leo, depending on its nakshatra and navamsha placements. Hence very beneficial Vasumati Yoga may be formed.
Taking an example, suppose debilitated Venus is placed in the third house of a horoscope in Virgo, in Virgo navamsha of Chitra nakshatra. Moon is placed in the sixth house in Sagittarius, in Aries navamsha of Moola; and Mars is placed in the eleventh house in Taurus, in Cancer navamsha of Rohini nakshatra. Venus is debilitated in its sign of placement as well as in navamsha. Moon forms Gandmool Dosh in Aries navamsha of Moola and the sixth house is a difficult house. Mars may do poorly in Cancer navamsha of Rohini nakshatra; within the sign of Taurus. Hence weak Vasumati Yoga may be formed and the native may not benefit much from it.
Taking another example, suppose Jupiter is placed in the third house of a horoscope in Leo, in Cancer navamsha of Magha nakshatra. Mercury is placed in the eleventh house in Aries, in Virgo navamsha of Bharani nakshatra; and Moon is placed in the tenth house in Pisces, in Cancer navamsha of Poorvabhadrapada nakshatra. Jupiter and Moon are strong in their respective signs as well as navamshas. Mercury may do very well in Virgo navamsha of Bharani. Hence strong Vasumati Yoga may be formed.
Considering another example; suppose exalted Moon is placed in the third house of a horoscope in Taurus, in Taurus navamsha of Rohini; and Mercury is placed in the sixth house in Leo, in Virgo navamsha of Poorvaphalguni. Jupiter is placed in the tenth house in Sagittarius, in Cancer navamsha of Moola; and exalted Mars is placed in the eleventh house in Capricorn, in Capricorn navamsha of Uttarashada nakshatra. All the planets are strong or very strong in this case. Hence among all the examples mentioned for Vasumati Yoga; the strongest one may be formed in this case.
Let’s look at influences of other planets as well as the overall theme of horoscope on this yoga. Suppose in the same horoscope; malefic Sun is placed in the sixth house in Leo with Mercury; and malefic Ketu is placed in the tenth house in Sagittarius with Jupiter. Sun is stronger than Mercury in Leo. Hence it may cause serious damage to Mercury through affliction as well as through combustion. Ketu may be as strong as Jupiter in Sagittarius or even stronger; depending on their nakshatra and navamsha placements. For example, if Jupiter is placed in Gemini navamsha of Moola and malefic Ketu is placed in Aries navamsha of Moola nakshatra within Sagittarius; Ketu may cause serious damage to Jupiter. Hence Vasumati Yoga may lose significant amount of strength and it may not produce benefic results of high quantum, though it may still produce benefic results.
Suppose malefic Saturn is placed in the eleventh house in Capricorn. Saturn and Mars are both strong in Capricorn. Hence Saturn may cause significant/serious damage to Mars; depending on nakshatra and navamsha placements of these planets within Capricorn. Suppose malefic Venus is placed in the fourth house in Gemini along with malefic Rahu. The malefic combination in the fourth house may send a lot of negative energy to Jupiter in the tenth house. As the combined result of all these factors; Vasumati Yoga may almost get cancelled out and the native may not benefit from it. On the contrary, he may face a number of problems due to such overall disturbed horoscope.
Let’s see what may happen when Vasumati Yoga is influenced by benefic planets. Suppose Moon in the third house in Taurus, Mercury in the sixth house in Leo, Jupiter in the tenth house in Sagittarius and Mar in the eleventh house in Capricorn form Vasumati Yoga in a horoscope. Suppose benefic Rahu is placed in the tenth house in Capricorn with Mars; and Ketu is placed in the fifth house in Cancer. Malefic Sun is placed in the seventh house in Virgo, exalted Saturn is placed in the eighth house in Libra and malefic Venus is placed in the fourth house in Gemini, in Aries navamsha of Punarvasu nakshatra.
Saturn and Sun may not cause affliction to any planet through conjunctions or direct aspects. Venus is not strong in Aries navamsha of Punarvasu which is a benevolent nakshatra. Apart from that; strong Jupiter sends positive energy to Venus from the tenth house. Hence Venus may not cause much damage in this case and it may witness reduction in negativity.
The overall horoscope is strong as well as benefic. Hence Saturn may form Vimala Yoga in the eighth house. As the combined result of these factors; the native may witness high quantum of benefits in many spheres of his life where the sphere of profession may benefit the most. Such native may achieve a post of high or very high authority in government. The sphere of marriage may face some problems since malefic Sun is placed in the seventh house.
After this, the field of impact of this yoga is checked. It is checked through the placements of planets involved in its formation in various houses of horoscope. In the recent example; Moon, Mercury, Jupiter and Mars are placed in the third, sixth, tenth and eleventh house respectively. Hence the native may witness primary and secondary benefits related to health, overall wellbeing, lifespan, personality, mother, father, brothers, sisters, children, love life, education, profession, authority, status, reputation, fame, finances, wealth, properties, vehicles, friends, associates, spiritual growth and a number of other benefits.
