Taking another example, suppose Sun is placed in the first house of a horoscope in Leo, in Aries navamsha of Magha nakshatra; and Mars is placed in the ninth house in Aries, in Leo navamsha of Bharani nakshatra. Sun and Mars are both strong in navamshas. Hence strong Lakshmi Yoga may be formed.
Let’s look at influences of other planets as well as the overall theme of horoscope on this yoga. Suppose in the same horoscope; malefic Saturn is placed in the first house in Leo, in Libra navamsha of Poorvaphalguni nakshatra; malefic Ketu is placed in the ninth house in Aries and malefic Rahu is placed in the third house in Libra. In this case, Saturn afflicts Sun and it forms Pitra Dosh. Likewise, Ketu afflicts Mars as well as the ninth house and it also forms Pitra Dosh. Formation of triple Pitra Dosh in the horoscope may significantly reduce the strength of Lakshmi Yoga. Hence the native may not benefit much from it.
Suppose Mercury is placed in the twelfth house in Cancer, debilitated Venus is placed in the second house in Virgo with malefic Moon; and debilitated Jupiter is placed in the sixth house in Capricorn. Malefic Moon may afflict weak Venus. Mercury is not strong in Cancer and the twelfth house is a difficult house. Jupiter is debilitated in Capricorn and the sixth house is a difficult house. As the combined result of these factors; the overall horoscope may become malefic and it may not remain strong; despite strong placements of Sun and Mars. Hence the native may not benefit in this case. On the contrary, he may face problems related to health, lifespan, marriage, profession and a number of other things.
Let’s see what may happen when this yoga is influenced by benefic planets. Suppose Sun in the first house in Leo and Mars in the ninth house in Aries form Lakshmi Yoga in a horoscope. Suppose benefic Mercury is placed in the first house in Leo and benefic Venus is placed in the third house in Libra. Mercury empowers Sun and they form Budhaditya Yoga in the first house. Benefic Venus adds more strength as well as positivity to Mars through direct aspect. Hence Lakshmi Yoga gains more strength in this case and the native may benefit much more.
Suppose benefic exalted Rahu is placed in the second house in Virgo, exalted Ketu is placed in the eighth house in Pisces, Moon is placed in the sixth house in Capricorn, Saturn is placed in the fourth house in Scorpio and Jupiter is placed in the seventh house in Aquarius, in Scorpio navamsha of Dhanishtha nakshatra. Rahu adds more positivity and strength to the horoscope. Saturn and Moon may not afflict any planet through conjunction or direct aspect. Jupiter is comfortable in Scorpio navamsha of Dhanishtha nakshatra and it may receive a lot of positive energy from Sun and Mercury in the first house. Hence the overall horoscope may become strong as well as benefic; and Moon may form Vimala Yoga in the sixth house. As the combined result of these factors; the native may witness good results in many spheres of his life; and the spheres of profession, health and finances may benefit the most.
After this, the field of impact of this yoga is checked. It is checked through the placements of lords of first and ninth house in various houses of horoscope. In the present example, Sun is placed in the first house and Mars is placed in the ninth house. Hence the native may witness primary benefits related to health, lifespan, personality, immunity, profession, status, father, higher education, luck factor and spiritual growth.
