Article 162

Considering another example, suppose a benefic combination of exalted Moon and Mercury is placed in the ninth house of a horoscope in Taurus. Moon is placed in Taurus navamsha of Rohini nakshatra and Mercury is placed in Virgo navamsha of Mrigshira nakshatra. Benefic exalted Venus is placed in the seventh house in Pisces, in Libra navamsha of Uttarabhadrapada nakshatra; and benefic Jupiter is placed in the first house in Virgo, in Pisces navamsha of Uttaraphalguni nakshatra. Moon, Venus and Mercury are strong in their respective signs as well as navamshas. Jupiter may do well in Pisces navamsha of Uttaraphalguni nakshatra; within the sign of Virgo. Hence strong Pushkal Yoga may be formed in this case.

Taking another example, suppose a benefic combination of Jupiter and Moon is placed in the fourth house of a horoscope in Gemini. Jupiter is placed in Pisces navamsha of Ardra nakshatra and Moon is placed in Taurus navamsha of Punarvasu nakshatra; within Gemini. Suppose exalted Mercury is placed in the seventh house in Virgo, in Virgo navamsha of Chitra nakshatra; and Mars is placed in the first house in Pisces, in Capricorn navamsha of Revati nakshatra. Jupiter, Moon and Mars are not strong in their respective signs but all of them are exalted in their respective navamshas. Mercury is exalted in its sign of placement as well as in navamsha. Hence relatively strong Pushkal Yoga may be formed.

Let’s look at influences of other planets and the overall theme of horoscope on this yoga. Suppose in the same horoscope; malefic Saturn is placed in the first house in Pisces with Mars, malefic Ketu is placed in the fourth house in Gemini with Jupiter and Moon; and malefic Sun is placed in the seventh house in Virgo with Mercury. In this case, all planets involved in the formation of Pushkal Yoga are afflicted. Hence the strength of this yoga may be reduced significantly; and the native may not benefit a lot from it. If malefic Venus is also placed in the seventh house in Virgo, in Taurus navamsha of Hasta, the problem may aggravate. Pushkal Yoga may become even weaker and the native may not benefit much form it.

Let’s see what may happen when Pushkal Yoga is influenced by benefic planets. Suppose Mars in the first house in Pisces, Jupiter and Moon in the fourth house in Gemini and Mercury in the seventh house in Virgo form Pushkal Yoga in a horoscope. Suppose Sun is placed in the sixth house in Leo, Venus is placed in the fifth house in Cancer, benefic Rahu is placed in the ninth house in Scorpio, Ketu is placed in the third house in Taurus and exalted Saturn is placed in the eighth house in Libra. Venus, Sun and Saturn don’t afflict any planet through conjunctions or direct aspects. Sun and Saturn are strong and they may add strength to the horoscope. As a result, the native may witness proper benefits due to Pushkal Yoga.

Considering another example; suppose Jupiter in the first house in Virgo, Moon and Mercury in the ninth house in Taurus and exalted Venus in the seventh house in Pisces form Pushkal Yoga in a horoscope. Suppose benefic exalted Rahu is placed in the ninth house with Moon and Mercury; Saturn is placed in the tenth house in Gemini, exalted Sun is placed in the eighth house in Aries, Ketu is placed in the third house in Scorpio and Mars is placed in the sixth house in Aquarius.

The combination of Moon, Mercury and Rahu is very strong and benefic. Benefic Venus is exalted and Jupiter is well placed. Hence the overall horoscope may become strong as well as highly benefic. As a result; Sun may form Vimala Yoga in the eighth house and Mars may form Sarala Yoga in the sixth house. Saturn may turn much more benefic than malefic; due to the overall strong and benefic horoscope. Hence the native may witness very good results in many spheres of his life. The spheres of profession and marriage may benefit the most. The native may earn billions through a creative field or business; if the finer factors are supportive.  The term ‘finer factors’ means placements of various planets in various nakshatras and navamshas within their respective signs.

After this, the field of impact of this yoga is checked. It is checked through the placements of planets involved in its formation in various houses of horoscope. In the first example; Jupiter, Moon, Mercury and Mars are placed in the fourth, seventh and first house. Hence such Pushkal Yoga may bless the native with good results related to health, profession, reputation, fame, authority, finances, mother, father, education, properties, wealth, children, marriage and other good results.

In the second example; Moon, Mercury, Venus and Jupiter are placed in the first, seventh and ninth house. Hence such Pushkal Yoga may bless the native with good results related to health, lifespan, mother, father, education, profession, marriage, fame, reputation, finances, wealth and other good results.
