Tara koot carries 3 points or Gunas in the system of Gun Milaan. Different number of points are assigned for Tara matching, based on how the Taras of male and female match with each other; according to the rules of Gun Milaan.
Looking at the important aspects related to Tara Dosh, the partner who has his or her birth nakshatra placed at a distance of 8, 6 or 4 nakshatras from the birth nakshatra of the partner, may suffer through such marriage. Such suffering may further depend on the kind of relationship formed by Tara of the suffering partner with that of the other partner.
For example, if male’s Tara is Ashwini and Female’s Tara is Krittika, female’s Tara is 3rd from that of male and male’s Tara is 8th from that of female. It means this relationship of 3-8 may prove troublesome for male and not for female. The 3rd Tara is Vipat (problematic) which means it can bring difficulties and problems. Hence the male may face various types of difficulties and problems; due to female; if the two of them get married. On the other hand, male’s Tara is 8th from that of female and it is called Mitra (friend) Tara. It means the male may prove helpful for the female, if they get married.
From these factors, it may be concluded that if this marriage is conducted; the husband may have to face a number of problems due to wife or those related to wife. On the other hand, the wife may gain through such marriage; as far as Tara matching is concerned. If female’s Tara is 8th from that of male and male’s Tara is 3rd from that of female, the equation gives the opposite result. In this case, the female may have to face a number of problems because of the male, if this marriage is conducted.
Looking at the next combination, if male’s Janma Tara is Ashwini and that of the female is Mrigashira, the relationship formed between these Taras is 5-6. The 5th Tara is Pratyari which means enemy or adversary. In this case, the female may have animosity for male, if the marriage is conducted. Hence the marriage may be disturbed due to such animosity. On the other hand, male’s Tara is 6th from female’s Tara. This Tara is called Saadhak (accomplisher) Tara which means the male may solve a number of problems for this female and he may accomplish many of her tasks.
From these facts, it may be concluded that the wife may trouble the husband in a number of ways but the husband may work for her welfare; if this marriage is conducted. Hence this marriage is not recommended for male, on the basis of Tara matching. On the other hand, if female’s Tara is Ashwini and male’s Tara is Mrigashira; the equation may reverse. In this case, the husband may trouble the wife in a number of ways but the wife may work for his welfare, if this marriage is conducted. Hence this marriage is not recommended for the female, on the basis of Tara matching.
Moving on to the next combination, if male’s Janma Tara is Ashwini and that of the female is Punarvasu, the relationship so formed between these Taras is 7-4. The 7th Tara is Vadh which means murder or killing. In this case, the female may prove fatal for male, if the marriage is conducted. On the other hand, male’s Tara is 4th from female’s Tara. This Tara is called Kshem which means happiness and wellbeing. It means the male may do a lot for the wellbeing and happiness of female.
From these facts, it may be concluded that the wife may become the cause of death of the husband or he may face very serious problems because of her; if this marriage is conducted. Hence this marriage is not recommended for male, on the basis of Tara matching. On the other hand, if female’s Tara is Ashwini and male’s Tara is Punarvasu; the equation may reverse. In this case, the husband may become the cause of death of the wife or she may face very serious problems because of him; if this marriage is conducted. Hence this marriage is not recommended for the female, on the basis of Tara matching.
