How Do Yantras Work

                                       Just like Mantras, the Yantras are also very powerful devices which when used properly are capable of reducing most of the defects found in Indian astrology and at the same time Yantras can bring good luck and enhance positive yogas present in a horoscope. The literal translation for the world Yantra is Device and just as the name indicates, a Yantra is used to get specific benefits from a planet, a God or Goddess and at the same time a Yantra is also used to reduce the negative effects of a specific planet in a horoscope. A Yantra just like a Mantra can be used to get benefit from a positive planet as well as a negative planet unlike gemstones which can be and should be used to get benefits only from the planets which are working positively in a horoscope. For example, if the Sun is working positively in a horoscope and the native wants some benefits which can be obtained by strengthening the Sun, the best remedy for the native is to wear a Ruby of suitable weight which strengthens the Sun in his horoscope and accordingly the native starts getting the benefits by virtue of this gain of strength by the Sun.                                      The Mantra for the Sun and the Yantra for the Sun is the ideal remedy in this case as both Mantra and Yantra work best to reduce the negativity of a planet as well as get benefits from such negative planet.                                 Looking further deep into these four steps which a Yantra needs to go through in order to work properly, purification is the process through which any negative energy associated with the Yantra is removed with the help of Mantras and some other rituals, then the Yantra is energized with a specific count of chant of Mantras and some other rituals and then in the third step the Mantra is programmed to provide specific benefits to some specific person whose name is included in this process and finally the Yantra is activated to start doing its operations and then it is handed over to the person for whom it has been programmed. So the purification means getting rid of any negative energy or vibrations, Energizing means charging the Yantra with sufficient amount of specific energy so that it may work properly, programming means to prepare the Yantra to work for some specific benefit of a specific person and activation means finally activating it for carrying out the operations which have been programmed in it.                                     Let’s now look at the actual working technique of a Yantra  and see as to what does a Yantra do once it has been established in your house or in your pocket.
